Rising energy costs and supply shortages, the crisis in the supply of CO2, and the escalating cost of fertilizers are all factors driving new market opportunities for AD outputs.

In addition to AD’s current and potential contribution towards renewable energy goals and the increased use of biogas in transport, there are also opportunities to gain greater value from heat, CO2, and digestate. These AD outputs can all be utilized to create additional income streams and provide resilience for the UK’s food, chemical, and agricultural sectors.

The aim of this AD SIG meeting is to introduce operators to organizations who are facilitating new market opportunities to maximize returns from AD outputs and minimize the associated risks.
