Make the most of new opportunities from the bioeconomy with BioVale membership. BioVale membership gives you specialised support in the rapidly expanding bioeconomy and enables you to develop your contacts, skills and profile in this important new sector. Membership is easy to apply for and currently free of charge.
BioVale membership will help you network with others in the bioeconomy. Exclusive access to our Members’ Directory will enable you to quickly identify contacts from a wide range of bio-based supply chains. Participation in our events and Special Interest Groups is another way to make those all-important connections.
A helping hand for your R&D
We can give you access to the region’s world-class R&D expertise in biorenewables and facilitate invaluable research partnerships. Our support helps de-risk your innovation, by identifying sources of R&D funding or investment and access to specialised demonstration facilities.
European Funding opportunities
BioVale can help you find the right funding to develop your bio-based product or service, from early-stage research to commercialisation. Because BioVale is part of the Bio-based Industries Consortium, we can bring our members early warning of funding calls in the EU’s multi-billion pound Bio-Based Industries Initiative, and influence in shaping future calls. We can also help you form consortia for H2020 funding.
Raise your personal and company profile
As a member, you can appear in our Members’ Directory and get publicity for your organisation’s press releases and events through our website and social media feeds. Join one of our Special Interest Groups to meet others with shared interests and help develop and promote your sector of the regional bioeconomy.
Access to international markets
Improve your overseas links and connect with new export markets through our links with other clusters and our international activities to promote the region’s bioeconomy.
Stay up to date
Hear about the latest developments and advance your skills and knowledge at our workshops, training events and breakfast meetings, for which members get priority booking. If you can’t make an event, find the presentations and other online resources in the members’ area of our website.
BioVale’s Special Interest Groups
BioVale’s Special Interest Groups (SIGs) provide members with specific forums to network, exchange views and share best practice with their peers. BioVale’s first SIG focuses on Anaerobic Digestion but others are planned on: value from biowastes; advanced biofuels and biorefineries; high-value products from plants; and agricultural technology. Members can join as many groups as they like.
