BioVale is a grant-funded initiative and we appreciate the support we receive from our funders who include:

 

  • The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF): helps local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects to support innovation and businesses, create jobs and regenerate their local community. ERDF funding supports our programme of business assists.
  • The Connecting Capability Fund of Research England has funded the THYME project (Teesside, Hull and York – Mobilising Bioeconomy Knowledge Exchange) with BioVale as a delivery partner. Led by the University of York, the THYME project is a £5 million project to develop the bioeconomy across Yorkshire, the Humber and the Tees Valley.
  • BBI-JU: BioVale is a partner in the Agrimax project – an EU project developing and demonstrating the production of multiple, high-value products from crop and food-processing waste.
