The York and North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership are looking to coordinate responses from partners who have an interest in one of the Government’s latest consultation documents, Future Support for Low Carbon Heat. The consultation document is for two loosely-related schemes, one for supporting biomethane injection into the gas grid and one for supporting homes and businesses to install heat pumps (or biomass boilers in limited circumstances).
You may wish to submit a comprehensive response yourselves – however, for those that maybe hadn’t heard of this consultation yet and would be keen to input your thoughts on the consultation so far, Katie Privett would be glad to integrate your input to a LEP-submitted response. They’re keen to get feedback from as many partners as we can and don’t expect a full return from all partners, so please feel free to be selective about which pieces you’d like to respond to. To save navigating a 45 page government document, they have created a shortened version (5 pages) which can be found here – the full document can be found here.
If you’d like to feed in your thoughts, please download the shortened version of the form, add your comments and return to Katie.privett@businessinspiredgrowth.com by 30th June.
