New films highlight the benefits of being a BioVale member

To highlight the support and opportunities our membership offers we have made series of short films. Our members range from regional industry (SME’s through to large organisations), research organisations, higher education and government.

BioVale membership gives you specialised support in the rapidly expanding bioeconomy and enables you to develop your contacts, skills and profile in this important new sector. Membership is easy to apply for and currently free of charge.

Amur

Through being a BioVale Anaerobic Digestion Special Interest Group member, Amur have been able to showcase and promote their new business to the BioVale network. They have also located their new laboratory facility to York, to be close to BioVale and the exciting developments in the Vale of York.

Sci Green Innovations

North Yorkshire based SME Sci Green Innovations have made new international contacts through being a BioVale member and as a result are working with a Norwegian company on an innovative research and development project.

University of York

By being a BioVale member, Professor Simon McQueen Mason from the University of York has made new connections with industry and is now working with Drax Power Station to look at how Drax can integrate biofuel production with bioelectricity production.

Wilson Bio-Chemical

Wilson Bio-Chemical have benefited in several ways. BioVale helped the company achieve a grant so they could locate their Micro Autoclave Fibre Production Plant for turning municipal solid waste (MSW) into biomass fibre to Yorkshire. This new technology aims to divert substantial amounts of mixed waste from landfill and produce a range of chemicals and fuels to replace the use of fossil-resource-based products.
