The Future of Digestate Use on Farmland

Digestate from the AD process can be a useful biofertiliser. Regulations control its use to ensure it does not pollute our soil or release greenhouse gases into the air.

This interactive workshop will be a chance to discover how changes to the policy and subsidy landscape are likely to impact on the use of digestate, from the AD process, as a fertiliser. It will also be an opportunity to: share experiences of managing digestate use; share concerns about future changes; and discuss the potential for innovation to provide solutions.

This hybrid event can be attended in-person or online and is suitable for livestock farmers, AD operators, researchers, technologists, consultants, regulators, waste managers and waste producers.
