Find us at the European Research and Innovation Day

Date: 24th–26th September

Venue: Kanal - Centre Pompidou

Address: Quai des Péniches, 1000 Bruxelles, Belgium

European Research and Innovation Days is the first annual policy event of the European Commission, bringing together stakeholders to debate and shape the future research and innovation landscape. A key challenge for Europe is delivering the next great transition of our economy, society and planet to secure a sustainable future that ensures the wellbeing of citizens.

The event will be central to finding research and innovation solutions for this great transition by working across polices, setting the direction, spurring innovation and triggering investment. It will be the moment for all stakeholders to meet and co-create the strategic priorities for the European Commission’s investment in research and innovation.

BioVale will be exhibiting EU funded project Agrimax, they are developing and demonstrating the production of multiple, high-value products from crop and food-processing waste. The project is also developing economically competitive routes to the commercialisation of these products, using flexible, and possibly cooperatively run processing facilities. Agrimax is a major EU-funded project aimed at addressing this problem by finding value in crop and food processing waste. The project will maximise the EU’s sustainability while providing new biobased compounds for the chemicals, food-packaging and agricultural sectors.

To discuss the Agrimax project further, Communications Manager Emma Needham will be attending the EU R&I day, if you would like to arrange a meeting please email emma.needham@biovale.org
