The BioVale Innovation Cluster team within the Biorenewables Development Centre are experts in bespoke marketing and communications for the bioeconomy sector. We work with bio-based businesses and on external projects to increase awareness of their products or processes to key stakeholders.
This could be developing a communication, dissemination and exploitation strategy, visual identity and branding guidelines, writing content for a brochure or developing a website or social media channels.
Experience in European and international projects
Our Head of Communications, Emma Needham is the work package leader and communication and dissemination partner for the AgriLoop project which started in December 2022. This is an international collaboration between 35 European and Chinese partners to push the frontier of circular agriculture by converting residues into novel economic, social and environmental opportunities for the food and farming sectors.
Previously we were also the communication and dissemination partner for the EU-funded Agrimax project, this was a five-year project with 29 partners (completed in 2021) which built two ground breaking pilot plant facilities in Spain and Italy. The project successfully demonstrated how unavoidable crop and food-processing waste can be turned into multiple, high-value bio-based products for the food-ingredients, food-packaging and farming sectors.
Types of communication activities
We have vast skill set, however, below are some of the most common communication activities we are asked to work on.
UKRI Horizon Europe Guarantee Scheme
As the UK is no longer part of the European Union, we have successfully accessed the UKRI Horizon Europe Guarantee Scheme to be part of new EU proposals going forward. This scheme provides funding to researchers and innovators unable to receive their Horizon Europe funding while the UK is in the process of associating to the programme.
Get in touch
We are open to getting involved in new EU and international proposals. If you are looking for a communication and dissemination partner, please get in touch with us.
